Owls are fascinating creatures. With their beautiful, mysterious eyes and unique feathered patterns and shapes, they are unlike any other animal in the world. No wonder they have long been the subjects of myths and legends.

Photographer Brad Wilson was intrigued by the animals and knew he wanted to do a series with the magnificent creatures.

“As a visual artist, I was struck by the compelling beauty of their feather patterns and their huge colorful eyes,” he writes. “I knew immediately that I wanted to work with them.”

He received special permission to do a photo shoot and here are the powerful results!
