Golden Retriever Finds Hilarious Loophole in Bedtime Rules
Sarah Pressley thoughtfully set up a cozy bed for her Golden Retriever to sleep on at night—but her pup had other ideas. The bed itself was fine. Its location, however, was not. Unimpressed with sleeping apart, the clever dog came up with his own solution. As Sarah explained in a now-viral video, “Our Golden Retriever started moving his bed into ours every night so he could sleep with us.”

The video shows the dog proudly completing his nightly mission—retrieving his bed, quite literally. His logic is pure dog genius, and viewers can’t get enough.
One person commented, “This is the most Golden Retriever thing I’ve ever seen a Golden Retriever do.” Another laughed, “He found a loophole in ‘GET IN YOUR OWN BED.’”
A fan of dog humor added, “BYOB—Bring Your Own Bed.” And someone else summed it up perfectly: “Do you let your dog sleep in your bed? Well… it’s complicated.”
Golden Retrievers are known for their affection, and as one viewer wrote, “Golden Retriever breed is on a different level of love toward their owners.”
This dog isn’t the only Goldie wanting to change the bedtime rules. This adorable dog was more traditional in her approach but adorable!
