Chicken Cleverly Outsmarts Alpaca Trying To Steal Food
An alpaca thought he could get a free lunch by stealing food from a chicken. In a hilarious clip, a chicken is trying to have a snack from a treadle feeder when the alpaca intrudes on the scene.
When the alpaca approaches the feeder, the chicken backs away, shutting the lid and preventing the would-be thief from getting any food. After several failed attempts, the alpaca lifts his head to look at the person filming, as if to ask, “Why am I not getting the food?”
The Australian redditor who originally posted up the video wrote, “So my alpacas don’t have the mechanics to operate the chickens feeder. They are smart enough to wait for the chickens to open it, though. That is…until the chickens realised they can stop the alpacas from eating their food.”
