Widow Stunned After She Receives Valentine’s Day Flowers From Her Late Husband

When Shelly Gola received flowers on Valentine’s Day she assumed they were from her children, until she read the note. What she read left her speechless. The bouquet was from her late husband, Jim Golay, who had passed away nearly eight months earlier. The note read ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Honey. Stay Strong! Yours Forever, Love Jim.’

Shelly didn’t know what to make of it at first and called the florist and confirmed that the flowers were indeed from Jim, who was just 53 when he passed away from an inoperable brain tumor. He had contacted the florist to set up the gift just after his diagnosis.

“Until the day I die I’ll get Valentine’s flowers on Valentine’s Day and that’s just a testament of his love all over again,” Shelly told KCWY. “He’s such an amazing man and he is just can love beyond boundaries, there is no boundaries with him. Even in death, he’s just amazing.”
