What would you do for a caramel apple pie? If you are math teacher Mr. Austen, you’ll break dance in the school hallway to win one.
It all started when one of his students, Natalie, proclaimed that geometry was boring and he responded by asking if he break danced would it make it better? And Natalie said “yes” it would, and added that if he danced she would make him an apple pie.
The class was skeptical of his abilities, but Mr. Austen stepped out into the hallway and delivered on his promise. Natalie filmed him bust out the dance moves much to the surprise of everyone watching!
Natalie mentioned that the “lady in the background that said we were having ‘too much fun’ was only joking around” and that she did, indeed, deliver on the promised pie. The apple pie was topped with sea salt caramel- also homemade- and vanilla ice cream. Worth the dance, don’t you think?
