While vacationing in Greece, Georgia Bradley had an encounter that would change her life and the life of a stranger who came to her aid.
According to the Telegraph, Georgia was walking on a beach in Crete when two men approached her and began grabbing her when she declined their invitation to join her for a drink. That’s when a small stray black dog came and saved her.
The dog ran up to Georgia and began barking at the men. She stuck by Georgia’s side until the men backed off and walked away.
“She saved me,” Georgia told the Metro. “She must have noticed something was wrong. When I went back to the apartment, she followed me and finally let us stroke her. We had an instant bond.”

Georgia named the little dog Pepper. Unfortunately, Georgia and her boyfriend were flying home to England the next day and were unable to find someone to take care of Pepper.
“When we left to go to the airport, we looked back and Pepper was running after the car. It was heartbreaking,” said Georgia.
The little dog stayed in Georgia’s thoughts, so much so that a few weeks later Georgia returned to Crete to see if she could find her hero. When she returned to the beach, there was Pepper.
Three weeks later, Georgia had had Pepper vaccinated, microchipped and quarantined so that Pepper could return home with her. It was during that time that Georgia learned she would actually be adopting more than one dog. It turns out Pepper was pregnant and within a week of arriving in England, Pepper had six puppies.
It looks like Georgia was just in time to return the favor to Pepper when she needed help most!
