Stray Kitten Rescued After She Interrupts Live Newscast

Unexpected things always seem to occur during live broadcasts. That was certainly the case when one newscaster in Detroit was interrupted by an unexpected visitor that is not only adorable but also in need of help!

Reporter Nima Shaffe was on location for WXYZ-TV Channel 7 when a stray kitten decided to wander into his segment and began meowing. It didn’t take long for the kitten to win over the news crew and also earn herself a ticket to a better life.

Now named “Lucky Seven”, the kitten is at the Humane Society of Huron Valley and will be placed up for adoption. Thanks to her impromptu TV appearance, the shelter has already received interest from potential adopters!
