Smallest Dog In The World Is Too Cute For Words

Meet Hope. The tiny toy poodle was born with dwarfism and wasn’t expected to survive more than 48 hours. But the tiny puppy defied the odds. She was rescued by K911 Animal Ambulance, a pet ambulance service in Quebec, Canada. Rodney Mclean introduces us to Hope at 4 months old weighing a mere 11 ounces.

As Rodney explains, many dogs born with her condition aren’t expected to live a day but Hope was a fighter. During her first few weeks, she needed to be looked after very carefully. In this video, the little cutie shows off her playful energy.

I was sad to learn that the sweetie passed away a few months later at 6.5 months old, weighing 13 ounces. She may have been the smallest dog in the world, but she obviously had the biggest spirit!
