A seal slapped a live octopus in the face of a kayaker and it was caught all on film.
Kyle Mulinder was out kayaking with his friend in Kaikoura, New Zealand to test out the new GoPro when they saw a seal fighting an octopus.
They went over to film the battle more closely when they got more than they bargained for. “Before we knew it the fight came to us and well the rest is slap to the face,” Mulinder wrote on his Instagram.
“I’m not sure who got more of a surprise: the seal, the octopus or me,” Kyle Mulinder continued.
