Stray Pit Bull Screams When She Was Cornered But Softens When Touched

Hope For Paws received a call about a homeless Pit Bull who had been living on the streets for a while. She was freaked out when anyone would approach her. “It was raining and cold, and I knew that the only way I would be able to save her is by using the element of surprise,” said animal rescuer Eldad Hagar.

He found Eden hunkering down inside a garage. Armed with a soccer net and snares Eldad and Lisa Arturo set out to catch her. There were a few tense moments, said Eldad. “We moved quietly, but Eden spotted us, and bolted out of the garage. Luckily, I was fast enough with my Gentle Snare, and I got her by the waist. Eden screamed, and at the same time, Lisa and I fell on the ground!”

Eldad took it cautiously, slowly trying to earn the young Pit Bull’s trust. Eden is now in a foster home with Chews Life and waiting to find a family that will adopt her and love her forever.
