A missed voicemail must have been part of Fate’s plan, because that was what put veteran Stephen Adams in the right place at the right time to save a kidnapped 2-year-old girl!
Stephen missed a voicemail cancelling a doctor’s appointment and while driving there he switched on the radio and heard an Amber Alert for 2-year-old Brooklynne Emerie Enix. The report included a description of the girl and the car she was thought to be in. Her father, Tyler Enix, was suspected of murdering Brooklynne’s mother and abducting her.
Stephen was shocked to see the car directly in front of him matched the description in the Amber Alert! Brooklynne even waved to him from the backseat of the car, as he called dispatch. Stephen ended up trailing the vehicle until Sheriff’s deputies had a chance to respond and pull over the car, arrest Enix and rescue Brooklynne.
Stephen said he thanks God for putting him in the right place at the right time to save the little girl.
