The loyalty of this dog is both amazing and heartbreaking. A dog in a cemetery is pulling on the heartstrings of dog lovers in Argentina. The loyal dog goes every day to the cemetery in Marcos Juárez, Argentina where his guardian is buried.
The cemetery workers told Argentinian media channel CN5 that the dog stays in front of the tombstone for several hours and often “laments” for his lost companion. At the end of the day, the dog departs and returns the following day.
This dog’s story reminds me of another Argentinian dog named Capitan, who stayed by his owner’s graveside for six years in Villa Carlos Paz Cordoba. Every day, he would lay on his human’s headstone, on his faithful vigil.
