These people got a rare sight when they witnessed hundreds upon hundreds of horses trotting down the highway. The horses hooves make such a noise, I’m sure the ground shook as they went by!
Some viewers have pointed out that this incredible footage is from the Sombrero Horse Drive, an annual horse drive held in north western Colorado. For 40 years, Sombrero ranch has moved their herd of 700 odd horses each spring across the spectacular sagebrush country of Colorado.
Riders from all over the States join in on the 60 mile ride that takes the huge herd of horses to their spring pasture. I’m sure this would be a spectacular sight to see in person!
