A stray dog was roaming the streets of L.A. when a kindly Good Samaritan called Hope For Paws. Maxwell didn’t understand they were there to help them at first, and was reluctant to approach them.
His thick coat hid the fact that he was starving and malnourished, but he had just been fed a hamburger so wasn’t that interested in food.
“Maxwell was kind enough to give me a fair warning (twice!),” said Eldad Hagar when Maxwell bared his teeth as he approached. “I knew he was just a scared dog who had to survive the streets of Downtown Los Angeles all alone.”
Maxwell is with L.A. Animal Rescue and available for adoption.
