Baby Horned Owl Sings Along With Its Caregiver

Owls are known for their distinctive hoots and listening to this owlet “ooowww ooowww” along with his caregiver is a special treat.

Check out an unusual dynamic duo singing a tune together in the video below. Every time this woman sings a melodic tune, the owl chirps in response. The singing owl you see in this video is a horned owl, with its large puffy ears and big yellow eyes.

It’s fun to see these two singing together, but keeping an owl for a pet is not something to be undertaken lightly and is, in fact, illegal in the United States and most countries.

Individuals caring for owls require special permits and are usually part of wildlife rehabilitation. This youngster is likely being rehabilitated before he can be reintroduced to the wild.
