Seven incredibly fortunate dogs who were destined for the dog meat market in Korea were instead rescued by Aniband, an animal rescue based in Korea. They saved the dogs lives, fostered them and then found them loving homes in America with help from Doggie Protect Services (DPS).
Some of the dogs were owner surrendered, abandoned, found as strays or were bred as meat. A few of the dogs flown over had lived their entire lives in cages.
