Adam LeWinter and Jeff Orlowski were in Greenland when they caught a moment on film that no one else in history had ever seen. The filmmakers called the event “Magical, miraculous, horrible, scary thing.”
While amazing, the film clip from the “Chasing Ice” documentary is also proof that climate change is having a profound effect on our planet.
The Ilulissat Glacier was calving and for 75 minutes it retreated a full mile and collapsed an area of ice the size of Manhattan!
