When a dog named Zoey was first seen by Amanda Gossom, she had just been rescued from an animal hoarder in Arkansas. Zoey was one of 90 animals taken from a filthy home by Arkansas State Police and The Humane Society of the United States.
They found her tethered to a large tree with a short chain surrounded only by dirt around rocks.
