When Klaanigan’s mother was out walking in the rain she came across a tiny newborn kitten, soaked and lying on the pavement. She knew she had to save the abandoned baby or it may die.
The kitten had not even opened her eyes yet. She lay lifeless on the ground.
With no mama cat in sight, Klaanigan’s mother picked up the helpless kitten and placed her on a paper wrapper that she had handy.
She took her home, cleaned her warmed her up and gave her a bottle.
Klaanigan’s mom and little brother are taking care of the kitten now. They named her Iris.
With her adopted family looking after her, little Iris is growing up fast!
