A man in Austin, Texas, filmed this amazing video of a wolf spider letting him remove carpet fibers that got tangled around its feet.
The man said he’s done this procedure several times to help other wolf spiders roaming around his house (yes, this big spider is not a pet), but every time he tells someone, no one believe him. So this time around he decided to film it.
What’s amazing is the spider seems to know that the man is trying to help it. Watch as the spider lifts its legs as if cooperating, rather than running away.
“It’s like he’s offering me his hand,” says the man, who uses an exacto knife and ruler to remove the fluff.
I don’t think I’d be brave enough to do this myself, but it’s incredible to see!
