They don’t know how Annie the English Bulldog ended up at a shelter, but when she did, she didn’t have good odds of surviving. Given she had a cherry eye and skin problems, and the shelter pegged her as older than she is, Annie was soon on the list to be euthanized. That’s when Vet Ranch stepped in.
“We don’t know her whole story, but since she’s a bulldog, someone likely paid a breeder a lot of money for her,” Vet Ranch writes on YouTube. “Maybe she ran away from home, maybe the owners couldn’t take care of her anymore, or maybe they just got tired of her. One way or another she ended up at the shelter suffering with skin problems and was scheduled to be euthanized.”
