Little Star was left to die, all alone, in a box and in the freezing cold. Her cries were muffled by a tight rubber band around her muzzle, which damaged her lips.
Luckily, a woman named Shawna found her in the nick of time. She reached out to Animal Advocates, who helped save the tiny dog’s life.

How is Little Star doing after her rescue? She’s thriving and happy as any dog can be: she has a family to play with, she sleeps in a warm bed every night, and she has Shawna who will ensure that she never suffers like that again.
