Tigers Can’t Purr – They Make This Sound When They Are Happy Instead

Bali the Bengal tiger makes a sound called a “chuff”. When her caretaker comes by to say hello she lets out a happy huff and is joined by her sister Amira who does the same.

And if that wasn’t enough to show she’s happy, at minute 1:00 Bali rolls onto her belly and demands some belly rubs! The universal cat (and dog) language for “give me attention”!
