This 8-year-old dog has been waiting his entire life for someone to save him. The sweet old dog spent more than two years confined to a cage in a city pound in Romania before Howl of A Dog spotted him. He had no name, simply a tag number in his ear.
He was underweight and his body was in bad shape from the fleas and neglect he suffered. Now named Charlie, his tail won’t stop wagging and he is endlessly curious about the world around him. His rescuers say he hasn’t stopped smiling through all his recovery.
