Scooter was surrendered to an animal shelter when he was a newborn because he was born without any front legs. Pitty Paws Bully Rescue is caring for the pup and under the watchful eye of Dr. Julie Mayer, Scooter is learning to walk.
The vet says the Lhasa Apso mix needs to learn how to do some form of locomotion so that he doesn’t hurt his chest from pushing on the ground. So he’s begun sessions with an inflatable tube and a tiny push cart to learn how to walk and push himself.
Now he’s all grown up, he still gets around with a wheelchair, but he’s an expert now!
