Orphaned Baby Fox Sleeps Nestled In His Foster Mom’s Hands

Puggle the fox was only 2 weeks old when he was found alone in a garden in North West London in England. The National Fox Welfare Society came to the rescue and the tiny cub and he was rushed into foster care.

And it soon became his favorite companion to snuggle with.

“He is growing really well and his character is starting to show,” his rescuers said on Facebook. “Getting photos of him is now very hard as after eating and his clean up he just wants to jump around.”

Most of the photos the group have taken is after he is eaten and had his “zoomies” and he’s tired. “This has led a few to believe that little Puggle has very sad eyes and must be sad.”

What National Fox Welfare Society wants to do next is find him a cub around the same size and age as he is. “Puggle is at the age now that we really need to get him in with other cubs so he can play and enjoy the company of his own kind,” they write.

The group plans to reach out to other fox rescues to see if they have a buddy for Puggle. When Puggle has grown up he will be released back into the wild.
