Can dogs teach us to be better people? After all, dogs don’t judge others on the way they look, their age, their color, or other differences. That’s what this ad from dog food company Pedigree sets out to illustrate.
In it, a curmudgeonly older man is walking his Mastiff when he runs into a teen walking his Pit Bull. The two give each other the once over, sizing each other up, but before they can make any negative assumptions about the other, they look down and notice their dogs are becoming fast friends.
Seeing how their dogs react to one another, the two men soften and have a pleasant exchange before continuing on their way. The take-away? If dogs know no prejudice, why should people?
That’s a message we can all get behind.
