An unusual video has surfaced from Malaysia that gives a glimpse into an unusual inter-species friendship. A man was driving on the roadside when his friend points out a dog walking leisurely on the side of the road. On her back? A baby monkey!
The driver and his passenger were traveling near Jenderak Kuala Reserve near Temerloh, Pahang, Malaysia when they saw the unlikely animal pair. No one knows for sure the story behind the dog and monkey, but clearly the dog has taken over a parental role for the tiny monkey.
Zainal Azman Hj Bidin, who posted the video on Facebook writes, the scene shows the “compassionate nature that should exist in every human being.”
