James Moskito and other brave volunteers were out on the water when a humpback whale came up to the surface and stared directly at James, begging for help. That’s when he realized she was entangled in a 1-mile long line of crab net that was like a 3000-pound anchor weighing her down.
James told the whale that freeing her was going to hurt, but the whale cooperated with the team of heroes for 5 hours it took to free her from her binds! Upon the final cut, the whale returned over and over again to gently nudge each diver. And what she asked James to do after she was freed left me stunned.
