RSPCA inspectors came to the rescue of a mare and her foal when they were in danger of drowning after the pony’s back hoof became caught in a matted tangle of her mane. They knew they had to help her before the approaching tide on the Loughor Estuary marshland in Gower, South Wales, flooded the area.
As concerned foal looks on, the men quickly tend to her stricken mom and manage to free her. Thank goodness they were there to help!
