Kind Man Sees Wild Rabbit Caught In Forest Fire, Saves It From The Flames

As firefighters battle the fierce wildfires scorching Southern California, one man’s act of kindness has taken the Internet by storm.

An unnamed man was caught on camera risking the flames to save a wild rabbit he spotted on the side of Highway 1 in Ventura County, California. Witnesses didn’t know what the man was doing at first, but recorded the touching rescue on video.

In it, the man can be seen jumping up and down, looking at something on the side of the road. He extends his arms outward, trying to encourage the small creature to come to safety.

His gestures seem to work and the small animal comes into the frame, with the man bending over to catch it. He walks with the bunny cradled in his arms, and then the video cuts off.
