Do you remember your favorite childhood stuffed toy? Maybe you still have the first teddy bear your parents ever gave you. You still have it now, tucked away on a book shelf or lovingly displayed in your own child’s nursery.
Luca the Alaskan Malamute remembers her first stuffed animal and cherishes it til this day. Her human shared these adorable Then and Now photos of Luca captioning them “She destroys every stuffed animal except this one. :)”
Luca is only 8-10 weeks old in the “Then” photo and is a year and a half old in the “Now” one.
“I got it [the toy] from Toys R Us many years ago before I could manage a real dog,” Luca’s owner writes. “Definitely not dog durable but she is super gentle with it.”
They add, “It’s her baby 🙂 She carries it around everywhere and always has it with her when she goes to bed.”
