While on the dock of Knudson Cove Marina in Ketchikan Alaska, Captain Cy and some friends got a surprise visit from a humpback whale!
“Our (whale) friend has been feeding right in front of Knudson Cove Marina for the last 3 days,” said Alaska Strike Zone Sportfishing on YouTube on May 2, 2016. The water around the dock is around 60 feet deep, and the whale “was determined” to feed on the herring that was trying to use the docks for protection.
