High School Running Team Takes Lonely Shelter Dogs For An Exciting Morning Run

St. Joseph Athletics cross country running team went to the dogs, literally. The California school kids took dogs from their local animal shelter on a morning jog recently and everyone had a blast! The dogs from Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter were paired up with a teen and had a short run.

“I am not sure who was more excited and having the most fun… the dogs or the kids,” team coach Luis Escobar wrote on his Facebook page. Although a small dog named Fred wasn’t so keen on all the exercise, all the other dogs were very enthusiastic!

The team hopes that people will head down to the shelter and adopt! Share this uplifting outing with your family and friends!
