An elderly street dog who had almost given up on living, is back on his feet again thanks to the kind rescuers at Animal Aid Unlimited in India.
They were notified about the dog after he was pulled out of a sewer by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. The dog was so exhausted and defeated that he refused to move from the middle of the road.
“We couldn’t find any injuries on his legs, but he was unable to stand,” the rescue group wrote in the video. But when they lifted his rear end they could see he had a bad open wound.
They took him back to their shelter and tended to him. What follows is a heartwarming chronicle of him getting back on “all fours” with a little help from his newfound friends.
