Rosie was dropped off in a cage in the rain outside of Vet Ranch’s hospital suffering a terrible injury to her leg. Apparently, she got hit by a car and whoever owned her decided to dump her rather than keep her and take care of her themselves. At the very least, it’s lucky she was dropped off at Dr. Dave’s clinic.
Luckily nothing was broken and Dr. Dave set to work to heal Rosie’s open wound by applying a surprising first-aid tool – sugar! Sugar is applied to her open wound as it draws the swelling out. Who knew?
And wouldn’t you know it, time and a little bit of sugar healed her up! Watch as the sweet dog goes from hurt to a home in the video below!
