A grieving dog’s touching gesture at the burial of his best friend is moving people across the globe. Carlos Aguilar and his dog, Ron-Wailer, lost their canine friend, Chocolate this week in the city of Copiapo in Chile.
Ron was very close to Chocolate, a dog that Aguilar rescued from the streets and the black dog is taking the loss of his canine companion very hard.
When it came time to bury Chocolate, Aguilar dug a hole and placed Chocolate in the ground. That’s when Ron began using his snout to push soil into the hole and cover Chocolate’s body. He continues to cast soil over his friend, as if he knows he is laying him to rest and saying goodbye forever.
