After relatives recently asked Abby and Matt when they were thinking about having kids, the couple came up with a great and hilarious response. The had just picked up a puppy who they named Humphrey with their good friend and photographer, Elisha Minette, when they came up with an idea for a spontaneous photoshoot where Humphrey would be the “newborn” baby.
“Abby and I both work in the creative industry and have the craziest sense of humour always coming up with funny and random ideas to have a laugh,” Elisha told Reshareworthy.com.
“We didn’t plan anything for the shoot, the three of us were just bouncing around different ideas on the spot,” Elisha explained. “It was a short but hilarious shoot only taking about an hour to complete. Humphrey was a delight to shoot, he loved all the attention and the treats of course!”
“I photograph all different types of shoots including newborns, so I knew what the normal baby shoots look like,” said Elisha. “We didn’t ever intend to make fun of new parents sharing photos of their newborns, we just wanted to show a different kind of newborn.”
We’re sure Abby and Matt’s family got the joke and smiled as much as we did at this sweet and funny introduction to the new “baby” joining the family.
