After Penny the Chihuahua gave birth to a stillborn puppy she cried for hours and refused to leave her humans’ side. They were upset to see Penny so distraught so they began calling animal rescues looking for any orphans who were in need of a mother. As it happened, Cat’s Cradle rescue had a litter of kittens that needed a mom. The instant the 5 kittens were introduced Penny, it was love at first sight.
