Chestnut Foal With Unique Markings Is Turning Heads

An unusually marked foal is turning heads in North Yorkshire, England. The baby chestnut horse was born at Fyling Hall Riding School after Wendy Bulmer purchased a mare at a horse sale earlier in the year and was unaware the horse was pregnant.

She named the foal Da Vinci (Vinny for short) because of his distinctive markings on his flank and neck, which show an outline of another horse on his flank. He’s also very sociable and is interacting with a lot of school children.

Ever get the feeling you're being foal-lowed?

“He is so friendly and the kids love him,” explains Bulmer.
