Batdad is known for his hilarious antics with his patient wife, Jen, and their kids. And now he’s added a new member to the team – an American bulldog / Staffordshire Terrier mix named Sugar. Although, I think with her costume on, she’s on her way to being renamed “Robin” by her fans.
Batdad says he wasn’t so sure he wanted the sidekick in the home when he learned the dog’s breed. But Jen wanted to foster the Pit Bull and he’s very happy she did.

“The stereotype is bs,” Batdad writes about the negative feelings people have towards the breed. “I was one of those people unfortunately until we brought Sugar home. She’s the sweetest dog and LOVES the kids. I’ve learned a lot about pits since we got her. Glad Jen wanted to foster her.”

He adds, “She was our first foster and we knew after a couple weeks we were gonna keep her. She just fit in perfectly! 4 kids and two dogs is our max though lol.”
Whey Sugar first arrived, she was nicknamed “BatDog” and sported the superhero shades before she graduated to her awesome Robin costume and is now “ready to hit the streets and keep the neighborhood safe from squirrels”.

Sugar joins the family’s other dog, Lucy, who gets up to all kinds of mischief around the house. With Sugar now officially adopted, the dynamic duo are getting busy “thwarting” crime and making adorable videos together.
