A tiny dog named Rio was abandoned by his owners and was left to survive on the streets. The nervous little dog eventually got hit by a car. That’s when someone noticed him and called Hope For Paws on their emergency line. Despite his severe injuries, Rio was so frightened when the rescuers approached that he tried to run away. Fortunately, he was secured and the moment he realized they were there to help him, he relaxed and jumped right into their car.
