There were so many orcas in the water that onlookers did not know where to look! Travelers and residents on Galiano Island in British Columbia were treated to the sight of a group of nearly 50 orcas swimming through Active Pass. The resident orcas from J and L pods included baby whales and adults breaching and slapping their tails in the waters and having fun on the warm summer’s evening.
