Pet Photo Booth At Shelter Gets Potential Adopters Lining Up Outside Their Door

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that’s what the Humane Society of Utah is putting into action to help get their dogs adopted. Staff photographer, Guinnever Shuster, has hit on a winning way to make the shelter dogs get noticed by bringing out their unique and playful personalities by photographing them like they are in a photo booth. “This gives everyone a chance to form a connection with these animals before they ever step foot inside the dog shelter,” says Guinnever of her photos.

And with the help of social media, the dogs’ photos are published right away, which means they could quickly reach potential families from all over the state. In fact, the shelter says that the photos work so well that they actually have had potential dog owners line up to adopt some of the dogs just hours after the photos were taken!
