Oscar was just a kitten when he was rescued from the pound and came to live at The Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Although he’s a normal cat in many ways, he has one remarkable and uncanny ability; he senses when patients are nearing their end of life and provides comfort not only to the individual, but to their caregivers and family members as well.
