Woman Quits Job On Wall Street To Rescue Dogs

Eva Armstrong left her job on Wall Street so she could rescue and rehabilitate dogs from kill shelters.

She admits to being a workaholic and wanted to make a lot of money. But one day she realized she didn’t care about what she was doing, and that her true calling was being with dogs. Her revelation lead her to open Eva’s Play Pups.

It’s a 52 acre farm located in the beautiful Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania that hosts dogs for boarding, daycare and also helps rescue dogs heal.

She brings dogs from Brooklyn four times a week. Rescue dogs can come and just be happy. They’re free to run, swim and play. Eva gets to see the dogs at their best. The dogs get to put the trauma and heartache of the shelter behind and get a new beginning.

Although she gets emotional thinking of the dogs she didn’t save, she moves forward knowing she is helping the dogs in her care. Eva says she’s very happy that she made the change, and from the looks of the dogs at her rescue, they’re very happy too!
