Woman Uses PVC Pipes To Knit A Gigantic Wool Blanket

When I picture someone knitting, I think of my grandmother with her needles clicking away with her yarn in a basket beside her. That’s why seeing this woman with PVC pipes and a ball of yarn that’s bigger than a cat is so surprising!

Lauren Birek wants to show everyone how to knit a gigantic, comfy blanket. She uses unspun wool roving and 1.5 inch thick PVC pipes to knit what she calls a “super-hyper-extra-bulky” blanket.

Knitting with those giant needles looks like quite the workout but the results are awesome!
