Truck Driver Shares Why People Should Think Twice Before Pulling In Front Of A Semi-Truck

Eric Boling Bracey is a truck driver with an important message to share with his fellow drivers on the road. He wants to show people how difficult it is to stop a semi-truck when driving 60 miles an hour because he knows some people have to see something to fully understand. In his video, which he labeled as a public service announcement, he visually explains the distance it takes for a fully-loaded semi-truck to come to a stop.

“I’m telling you this so that the next time you’re on the road, on the express way, and you see a truck, don’t pull in front of it and hit your breaks. Because you could die.” Eric explains. “And I would have to live with the fact that I killed somebody.”

Eric also suggests when merging onto a highway and you see a semi-truck coming down the far right lane, either hit the gas or hit the brakes because a truck can’t move, but “you can.”

Share this road safety message, especially with the young or inexperienced drivers you may know.
