Neighbors Are Stunned When They See Teens Have Cleaned Snow Off Their Properties

A Colorado neighborhood woke up over a winter weekend to discover that their driveways and sidewalks had been completely cleared of snow.

The good deed was carried out by a group of teenagers who decided to wake up early and shovel the snow from 53 homes. They left behind a flyer at the homes that simply read, “You’ve been served”.

The residents were stunned. “You just don’t see that in this day and age,” Jeff Mostellar told KUSA-TV. “They did everything. The whole driveway, the stoop, the whole sidewalk up to the fence.”

“My daughter came and woke us up and said, ‘look outside,'” said Darcy Peterson. “I mean, I can’t believe it. I cannot believe it.”

The high school students said they just wanted to pay it forward. They didn’t accept any of the money offered but they didn’t say “no” to hot chocolate.

After finishing the teens did what most kids do in the snow – they went sledding!

I love reading good deeds like this one. Pass on their good deed and share this story with your friends and family!
