14-Year-Old Rapper Flau’jae sings from the heart. Her first performance was rapping about gun violence. Her second performance on America’s Got Talent is far more personal. She tells the judges her dad was also an aspiring rapper and was about to be signed to a big record contract when he murdered.
Flau’jae’s rap song is something she wrote herself, and she sings with such emotion and authenticity that the judges are blown away.
“You’re brilliant,” says Mel. “You are a wow!” says Howie. “Everything feels real,” says Simon.
Chris Hardwick is also blown away by her performance and hits the golden buzzer to ensure she gets through to the finals.
